Shipping - Non boot ordersPirateMerch.com ships mostly everyday Monday through Friday with Federal Express: Home Delivery or Ground (for business addresses), Express Saver, 2 Day Air, Standard Overnight, and Priority. We also offer United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Piratemerch.com does not ship on national holidays, when the post office is closed. We also are closed Christmas Eve. Once an order is placed your package will ship within 1-2 business days. Only Fedex Express Saver, 2 Day Air, Standard Overnight, and Priority orders will ship same day, if ordered before 12 PM PST Monday through Friday. Once we ship, Fedex Home Delivery or Ground takes 2-5 days, Express Saver takes 3 Days, 2 Day Air takes 2 Days. Standard Overnight is an overnight service delivering by 3pm the next day (later for rural areas), and Fedex Priority by 10:30 am the next day (later for rural areas). For Fedex shipping, we do not offer Saturday delivery (Next Day orders placed on Fridays before 12 PM PST will arrive on Monday). USPS Priority Mail takes 2-3 days, and Parcel Post 2-9 days. If you need an item by a certain day, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you. We cannot be responsible for incomplete or partial addresses resulting in a package being returned to us.
Boot Shipping
For domestic addresses, boots ship UPS Ground from a separate warehouse 1-3 days after the order is placed, and after they ship, take 3-5 business days to arrive. That being said, if you order other items with the boots, they will ship separately from the boots.
For international orders, please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, as the warehouse will not ship internationally, and it first ships the boots to us, and then we ship to you by your preferred shipping method. If you choose Fedex International Priority (1-3 days), boots ship this method after we receive them at our location.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your product for any reason we will be happy to replace the item or refund your money within 21 days (except for boots - read below) if the product has not been opened or does not show any signs of being worn. We determine this, it is at our discretion. Piratemerch.com does not refund shipping costs unless the USPS admits to an error and refunds the shipping costs to Piratemerch.com.
Boots returns must be postmarked within 3 days of receiving them, or we will not honor the return. Exchanges are shipping out Fedex Home Delivery or Ground (business addresses use Ground), USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground unless the customer pays the difference for expedited shipping. Please do not send returns/exchanges to us using expedited/express shipping, as we do not reimburse for this.
If you need to do a return or exchange, please follow this procedure to get a Return Merchandise Authorization number:
First you need to log in to your account and view the order you placed. You can see your orders by logging in to piratemerch.com, clicking on "My Account" in the menu under the skull up top, and then by clicking on "View the orders I have made" under the "My Orders" section.
Click on "Need to return this product?" next to the product you want to exchange or return. It takes you to a page to enter your reason for the return or exchange. If it is an exchange for a boot, shirt, or costume, please write in the comments what you'd like to exchange for. Click "Submit" and you'll receive an email with your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. There is a $5 restocking fee and $10 shipping fee ($20 for international orders) tied to all boot exchanges, as we get charged these fees as well to ship the new boot.
Exchanges ship Fedex Ground once we receive the returned product at our location.
All non-exchange product returns will only incur a 5% restocking fee. Product refunds will be issued after the product is received at our location and inspected, once the returned product is determined to be in re-sellable condition.
Once we receive the Return Request you will be contacted within 1-2 business days with further instructions. No returns will be accepted that do not follow this procedure. Click here to log in and begin the process.
Due to the seasonality of some of our merchandise, we will not accept returns of costumes or costumes accessories that are ordered between October 5th and October 31st. Aside from that, within 3 days of receiving costume, customer must contact us to let us know they wish to exchange or refund, and we must receive it back within 10 days for domestic orders or 15 days for international orders.
Custom Boots
For any boots that are described as "Custom" or "Made-to-order", we do not accept returns or exchanges as they are custom made for your foot. We will not do refunds for these.
Jewelry
We will issue a refund for non-custom order items once the item is returned in the same condition it was mailed out in. Shipping is not refundable and a 15% restocking fee will be issued. If any damage has been caused by regular wear or improper packaging for the return, an additional $20.00 fee will be assessed.
Items should be returned in well protected packaging and should be insured. We will not refund returned items lost in the mail. Proof of purchase must be included with the returned item. A copy of the sales receipt is acceptable proof. If any damage has been caused by improper packaging for the return, an additional $20.00 fee will be assessed.
Custom Order Items, Platinum Jewelry, and Custom Engraved items are NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE.
If you should order an incorrect ring size, we do offer resizing. $20.00 US for sterling silver $50.00 US for gold.
International Duties/Taxes
Due to the fluctuating nature of duties and taxes imposed on packages shipped internationally, we cannot be responsible for these.
E-Checks
Any order paid via e-check will ship after it clears.
Bounced Checks
There will be $25 fee for all bounced checks.
